The Friede Springer Foundation supports excellence in research by funding Friede Springer Doctoral Scholarships at the CASiM Graduate School of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. The scholarships are open to outstanding doctoral candidates of any nationality. Each scholarship is endowed with a monthly stipend of up to EUR 1,468 and a waiver of the fee for the HHL doctoral program over a period of maximum three years (approx. starting in spring 2014). Successful applicants will work on a doctoral project in one of the four research themes of CASiM - "The Role of Trust in Firms and with their Stakeholders", "Change Management in Firms and Markets", "Health Care Economics and Management of Health Care Institutions" and "Urban Dynamics: Cities and Firms in Global Competition". The scholarship holders will have a unique opportunity to pursue their doctoral projects under the guidance of internationally renowned scholars and members of the Executive Board of CASiM as well as the distinguished HHL faculty. Each scholarship holder will get two supervisors: one leading researcher from HHL and one member of the CASiM Executive Board. Who can apply: We welcome any applicant, from any country, holding a degree that qualifies for postgraduate/ doctoral/ Ph.D. studies. There are no age limits for the scholarship. Friede Springer Scholarship

Application Procedure: The application procedure is exactly as stated in the announcement: Applications must include a CV, copies of (translated) certificates (German or English only), a proposal for one of the aforementioned research topics, two recommendation letters from academic advisors as well as a completed and signed application form.  Friede Springer Scholarship Result

Please apply by November 3, 2013 (CET) by sending your application, whenever possible, as a single pdf-file via email. The file should be named: FSS2014_Last Name_First Name. However, any application that does not contain all the requested documents listed earlier will not be contacted or considered.
